SafAAA Pest Control (pronounced “safer”) was established in 2015, and we have been providing safe pest control services to Brisbane residents and businesses ever since.

Our owner Darryn has a strong customer service background, and in talking to people saw a gap in the market for pest control that focused on safety, with many families voicing their concerns about the effect pest control sprays can have on their pets and children. Darryn then completed training and obtained the required licensing and insurance to perform pest control.

Fast-forward four years and Darryn has now built a strong clientele including residents, commercial pubs and several Brisbane Storage King facilities. SafAAA Pest Control’s focus on safety has awarded us with a triple A safety rating (hence the AAA in our name) as well as a CM3 health and safety certification.

In addition to safety, Darryn’s sales experience means he is passionate about providing impeccable customer service; he will always give you a specific time of arrival, he will listen to your concerns and will always provide customers with a follow up chat after the service. Our Process:

With SafAAA Pest Control, your service will always begin with a thorough inspection to determine the best approach for your property. During the inspection we ask you to voice any concerns you have so that we know what to look out for. After we’ve completed an inspection, we will provide you with a free quote, or, if your property is clear, suggest some preventative methods so you can continue to keep your space pest-free. Once we get the go ahead, we will begin the service. Before we arrive, we like to ask our clients to clean up the space to make sure nothing accidentally gets sprayed. Most of our customers like to make sure they aren’t home when we are spraying, however if you are home, we usually ask you to step outside with your pets and children. For commercial spaces, we usually perform our service outside of business hours for convenience. After we perform a service, we will always do a follow up and get your feedback so that we can continue to improve.

How often do I need pest control?

Most residential properties will require a pest control service every 6-12 months. A service lasts for about 12 months, so you will start to see bugs, spiders and roaches moving back in when you are due for another service; a six-month service is preventative and will prevent the pests from returning at all if maintained.

For commercial properties, this will depend on a number of different factors – we have some commercial clients who get monthly and even fortnightly sprays to ensure that they never have any issues with pests.

Will pest control harm my pets or children?

Definitely not. At SafAAA Pest Control, we focus on safety and perform our services in a way that minimises exposure to residents. We also prefer to recommend preventative measures and only spray if we really must.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a 12-month warranty (T&C’s apply) on all residential pest control jobs.

Yes, our accreditations include:

QLD Government for Red imported fire ants eradication program, QLD health, Cert 111 in pest management, (CPP30911) CPPPMT3005A, modify environment to manage pests CPPPMT3006A, apply pesticide to manage pests, CPPPMT3018B maintain equipment and chemical storage areas CPPPMT3008A inspect and report on timber pests CPPPMT3010A control timber pests, CM3 health and safety certified, Triple A safety rating.
